What, all that information was not enough? You want... more? Right, then. You asked for it.

Now this is rather important. With viruses and malware so dominant these days, website safety is among the key ratings. It's importance is such that a website marked as unsafe is more than likely not to rank at all, let alone on the first page. Now, some sources are more reliable than others, but we'll try to present you with all the information we've managed to gather, along with some relevant commentary.

1. Out of all the security solutions we've managed to include, Norton stands tallest. The cyber security company behind this software, Symantec, has a well deserved reputation. As such, we trust their analysis and suggest you do, too. If they deem a website less than safe, there's probably a real reason for it. It can't be absolutely reliable, but as close as makes no difference, we think. Symantec deems avastin.com to be no_data. According to Symantec, no annoyance factors have been found. No computer threats were found. And finally, no identity threats were come across.
2. Even though we are including WoT (or Web of Trust) in this report - after all, any source is an important source when given context - it's nowhere near as reliable as, say, Symantec/Norton. We would not trust WoT all too much, but it's better to be falsely warned than falsely safe. Just be sure to double-check using other sources, as WoT has been less than trustworthy (oh the irony) over the last few years. According to WoT, avastin.com has a Trustworthiness rating of 61 out of 100. Just remember - no grain of salt is too big here. These ratings can be blatant lies.
3. Sucuri is cool. Purchased a while back by GoDaddy, it's an online security expert company started in 2010 by the founder Daniel B. Cid. That makes it quite young, but don't mistake apparent lack of decade-long experience of the company itself for lack of quality data. According to Sucuri, No Malware Detected by External Scan. And lastly, the website is apparently Not Currently Blacklisted (10 Blacklists Checked).

Website load speed analysis

• The homepage takes approximately 2.608 seconds to load. How do we put this... improvement is quite necessary. Load speed is a very important factor in so many ways!
• The HTML of the website weighs in at around 53 kilobytes. We don't think 53 KBs is something to worry about.
• There are at least 5 images on the homepage of this website. We are glad to say that such an amount should not impact the load speed of the website. Great result!
• We've counted at least 20 server requests before the homepage was fully loaded. Every server request made increases the load time of a website. Thankfully, this is a pleasingly low amount.

Alexa ranking in-depth

With over 4 million websites indexed (which can seem as a lot, or very little, depending on your point of view), Alexa is perhaps the oldest and certainly the best known ranking system, deservedly or not. The Alexa Global and Local ranks of a website are based on an approximate amount of visitors a given website receives. The more visitors, the higher the rank. The Alexa rank, be it Local or Global, should be taken with a pinch of salt. After all, visitor count is by far not the simple measure of a website's success it's made out to be. For example, a gardening website is never going to be as popular as a movie review website. It does not mean it's not popular within it's niche.

• Compare the current rank to all-time best of 528 794, which this website enjoyed on 2015-03-16.
• Over the last three months, the position has changed by 107693.
• On the other end of the scale, the worst rank ever was 998 986, rated on 2014-10-28. Compare that to the current rank to see a marked improvement, even if of debatable importance.
• Given all the numbers, the average Global rank is at 789 653.

QUANTCAST rank overview

QUANTCAST - an advertising-related data processing company - mostly specializes in real-time audience analysis and measurements. In other words it, like Alexa, is basing its rankings on approximate traffic numbers. Currently, QUANTCAST has rated around 166 416 904 websites. Just like ALEXA, this is not a metric of huge importance, so don't base your SEO decisions on QUANTCAST rank, specifically. At best, it's a vague representation of how your website is doing in the grand scheme of things, but it does not take all that much context into account.

• Quantcast claims avastin.com takes up 271 772 place at this time, among all the indexed websites. We last checked this data on 2015-02-05.
• This website achieved its best Quantcast rank of 45 918 on 2014-01-15.
• For comparison, the worst position was 382 641 on 2014-03-14.
